Eight to 11 inches of snow was dropped on the lakes area on Halloween 1991, bringing winter in early. The storm was being called "the great Halloween 1991 snowstorm."
Community Theatre was to present "Anything Goes," a Cole Porter musical. It was Community Theatre's 11th production.
