NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DATES

The following Maple Township offices will be voted for at the state general election to be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Candidates may begin filing for these offices on Tuesday, July 31, 2102 until 5:00 Tuesday, August 14, 2012

Candidates must file at the Office of the Maple Township Clerk, JoLeta Buss 4669 County Rd 1 SW Pequot Lakes MN 56472 ( 218-568-5455) or with Deputy Township Clerk, Marian Maine 7053 37th Ave SW Pequot Lakes MN 56472 (218-568-4460). Candidates must complete an affidavit of candidacy and pay $2.00 filing fee at time of filing.

Candidates who will be absent from the state during the filing period may arrange to file in person with the Clerk within seven days prior to departure by giving written affidavit of reasons for absence and completing all other filing requirements.

FILING WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE FILING PERIOD FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFICES TO BE ELECTED ON NOVEMBER 6, 2012:

Township Clerk (4 year regular term)

Township Supervisor Seat 1 (4 year regular term)

Township Supervisor Seat 2 (4 year regular term)
