PINE RIVER TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DATE

The following PINE RIVER TOWNSHIP offices will be voted for at the state general election to be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 Candidates may begin filing for these offices on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 until 5:00p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012.

Candidates must file at the office of the PINE RIVER TOWNSHIP Clerk, 3355 Eagle Lake Dr SW, Backus MN 56435. Candidates must complete an affidavit of candidacy and pay $2.00 fiing fee at time of filing.

Candidates who will be absent from the state during the filing period may arrange to file in person with the Clerk within seven days prior to departure by giving written affidavit of reasons and completing all other filing requirements.

Filings will be accepted during the period for the following offices to be elected on November 6, 2012: Township Treasurer- 4 Year Term Supervisor Seat 2 - 4 Year Term Supervisor Seat 3 - 4 Year Term
