The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes has new owners, new name

The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes off Highway 371 in Baxter has a new owner and a new name - Arrowwood Lodge at Brainerd Lakes.

U.S. Hotel & Resort Inc. purchased The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes from the Commerce Bank in Edina on June 19. U.S. Hotel & Resort has hired Regency Hotel Management to manage all operations, sales and marketing.

With U.S. Hotel & Resort Inc. purchasing the Lodge, jobs have been saved. Regency feels the Lodge is in incredible shape; however, renovation plans are ongoing. Updating all rooms with new flat panel televisions and a new bed package is the first priority.

Regency Hotel Management currently operates three hotel properties in Minnesota: Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center in Alexandria, Crowne Plaza Hotel Minneapolis West in Plymouth, and Best Western Bloomington Hotel at Mall of America in Bloomington.
