Doug Tiffany, professor of applied economics at the University of Minnesota, will present his decision-making tool to assist car buyers and the curious to evaluate hybrid and alternative fuel cars at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Heartwood Senior Living Center in Crosby.
Factors to consider include economics, efficiency, driving patterns and owner lifestyle. He will discuss the differences between hybrids, electric and modified engine cars plus an overview of biofuels and their potential uses.
