Crosslake author Mike Holst will be at the Pequot Lakes Library at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, to meet readers and discuss his newest and eighth novel, "An Absence of Conscience."
Holst is a weekly columnist for the Northland Press and is a regular contributor to the Brainerd Dispatch and outdoor magazines. He is, however, most proud of his works of fiction. His ninth novel will be released later this year.
Booktalks, sponsored by the library, are a good way to meet authors and get their slant on literature, fiction or nonfiction. They are free and open to anyone interested.
