Emcee Ann McCormick is shown with models David and Christina Thell and their daughter, Maggie, at the "Summer at the Cabin" style show and luncheon held June 9 at Immaculate Heart Church in Crosslake.
"Summer at the Cabin" was the theme for a luncheon and style show held June 9 at Immaculate Heart Church, Crosslake, which attracted 180 people.
Fashions were supplied by local businesses, including Lundrigan's, Pine Peaks Apparel, Pine Peak Gifts, Lake Country Crafts and Cones, Lakes Area Gallery and Frame Shoppe, Ace Hardware, Judy's House of Gifts and Goodwill.
The style show featured outfits that could be worn to church, shopping, relaxing, fishing, golfing, exercising, for luncheons, in and on the water, for entertaining, sitting around the campfire and for special occasions.
The models were parishioners and ranged in age from 7 to seniors.
"The ladies seemed to enjoy the day and many commented that they would make this an annual event," said Donna Keiffer, who co-chaired the event with Ann McCormick.
