Knife River construction crews poured concrete for new sidewalks along Highway 371 in Pine River, Monday.
Paving the highway was slated to begin mid-week and should be ready for traffic on Friday, June 15 or Saturday, June 16.
Once the detoured portion is open, there will be a temporary four-way stop at Highway 371 and Barclay Avenue, until signal poles can be installed.
There was a slight manufacturing delay on the poles, which should be delivered Monday, June 18, according to Project Supervisor Joe Cameron.
