Dr. Joey Buhta has joined the staff at Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital.
Buhta grew up in Richfield, attended St. John's University for undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.
During veterinary school he worked at The Raptor Center and at a veterinary dermatologist specialty center. His professional interests are in veterinary dentistry, dermatology, holistic and avian medicine.
Buhta lives in Pequot Lakes with Harvey, a dachshund/maltese cross.
