Woodland Bank in Jenkins is now First National Bank.
The First National Bank of Walker entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Woodland Bank's Remer, Longville and Jenkins offices in December last year.
The acquisition was complete and the three additional offices opened for business managed by First National Bank as of June 11.
All three locations will operate as full service branches, and Longville's previous Woodland branch will operate as First National Bank's drive-up facility.
The acquisition will provide customers with additional locations to bank, new technology and the continued small town personal service.
With this acquisition First National Bank will have eight banking locations with assets of $350 million, deposits of $305 million and loans of $209 million.
First National Bank acquired these branches to create bank efficiencies, increase its loan portfolio, expand its customer base and strengthen its market share in the area so it can continue to provide competitive products and services to customers.
