A letter published in the Lake Country Echo (May 6) reported what was learned at the showing of the documentary "Under Our Skin" April 24 in Outing. Dr. Betty Maloney conducted the informative Q&A session following the film.
Dr. Betty Maloney, a family physician from Wyoming, Minnesota, has spent the last several years researching and developing educational materials on Lyme disease. She puts on health seminars for the general public, and she trains doctors, nurses and chiropractors about Lyme disease. The course for primary physicians is accredited for continuing medical education credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
