Boat and Water Safety Class offered June 9 in Breezy Point

A Boat and Water Safety class will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Breezy Point City Hall.

Lunch and PFD are provided by the Pelican Lakes Property Owners Association and Pelican Lake Conservation Club.

Participants must be at least 12 (or almost 12) to attend. Class will include an operator's test on Pelican Lake after lunch.

Participants will receive a Watercraft Operator's Permit upon successful completion of the test. Instructors are DNR officer Nikki Shoutz and Crow Wing Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Goddard.
