Lymes Ticks Me Off event offered June 15 in Pine River

Lymes Ticks Me Off, a Pine River-Backus Community Education class, will offer information about Lymes disease from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Hunt Utilities Group campus just west of Pine River on County Road 2 off Highway 371.

Those who attend will view "Under Our Skin," an hour and 40 minute DVD that presents the history of Lymes and individual experiences.

Bonnie Hiniker will lead a discussion following the DVD.

Registration with minimal fee to cover costs other than the film is required by June 10 through Pine River-Backus Community Education.
