Borden, Pratt, Juaire win Crosslake ice races

Sunny skies and mild temperatures greeted the 21 entrants for the Saturday,Feb. 25, ice races in Crosslake.

Taking first in the studded tire class was Matt Borden of Merrifield in car No. 80, with second place going to Isaac Wannebo of Manhattan Beach in car No. 7 and third place going to Mark Peterson of Brainerd in car No. 19.

In the age 15 and under class, Logan Pratt of Merrifield in car No. T4 placed first with Dylan Nelson of Merrifield in car No. 25 taking second and Sarah Hines from Randall in car No. 21 taking third.

In the rubber tire class, Larry Juaire of Brainerd in car No. 4 took first with Borden in car No. 80 taking second and Tyler Pratt in the T4 car taking third.

Twenty-one racers competed on Saturday, Feb. 18, on Big Pine Lake.

In the studded tire class, Matt Borden of Merrifield in car No. 80 took first place, with Mark Peterson of Brainerd in car No. 19 taking second and Shawn Pratt of Merrifield in car No. 99 taking third.
