The host Nikiski volleyball team swept Kenai Central 25-15, 25-16 and 25-10 in nonconference action Thursday.
Kenai Central coach John Kennedy said it was a frustrating night for the Kardinals, who are seeking their first win.
"There were times when we played very well and times when we didn't," Kennedy said. "That's been our MO this season."
Jodi Cook and Briana King had three and two digs, respectively, for Kenai Central. Lauren Schams added two kills, and Cassie Ross posted 15 digs.
Sienna Wallis had seven blocks, Minna Bogard had 21 digs and Taylor Calderwood and Rachel Thompson delivered six kills apiece for the Bulldogs, who picked up their fourth win.
Nikiski coach Amber Olivia-Douglas said the squad played well from beginning to end, though the team can still get better.
"They just played very consistently," she said. "It was still a little bit of a slower pace than what we would like to see, but they played mentally consistent and together from start to finish."
Kenai Central hosts Seward at 5:30 p.m. today. Nikiski hosts Unalaska at 3 p.m. today and Seward at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
