Our Alaska Permanent Fund Manager sent out over 5,500 PFD checks to the wrong Alaskans today. Well what does that do for your confidence in the PFD management? White collar, highly educated, earning 6 figure salaries, the business world elite send our money to the wrong people!
Then I learn today that a "Wall Street type" has been hired as the Alaska Permanent Fund CEO. A pervious hedge fund manager from New Jersey!
Does any one besides me see something seriously wrong happening here?
I would NOT Trust anyone from Wall Street and New Jersy to manage any money. What are these people in Juneau thinking? 53 applicants and they hire a Wall Street hedge fund manager? What's up with that?
Just the term "Wall Street" makes my blood boil!

I agree that the boys fom wall street have different ideas about finances, and we should be keeping this in Alaska.
However your comment on a person making 6 figures is "the business world elite" is wrong in my opnion.
6 figures is fairly easy to make provided you have some imagination, drive, goals, preserverance, and self motivation.
Please dont stick this ideal upon the rest of us. Our youngsters may be stunted in their growth.
Perhaps you should have chosen a different career path?
