A nearly full moon rises above Kenai last month. Weather permitting, early risers may have the opportunity to see a lunar eclipse Saturday morning. The full moon will start moving into the earth’s shadow at about 3:30 a.m. From about 6 to 7 a.m., the moon will be fully in the shadow and will appear deep red. By 9:30, the event will be over.
