The American Jobs Act is a very sound piece of legislation that contains items that both Democrats and Republicans have long-supported. If passed, it would definitely help our economy and reduce unemployment. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that Republicans will support it because their primary mission is to make President Obama look like a failure, regardless of the damage this does to our country in the process.
