The Pequot Lakes Patriots varsity and junior varsity girls’ basketball teams participated in a team bonding event over the holidays. The event, which was chaperoned by head coach Kate Dale, featured games, pizza, decorating cookies and making Christmas ornaments, which were donated to Golden Horizons in Crosslake. The Pequot Lakes girls’ basketball game at Crosby-Ironton on Friday, Jan. 11, was postponed because of inclement weather conditions. The Patriots were scheduled to host Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday, Jan. 15, and play at Staples-Motley on Thursday, Jan. 17.
