Tucker Hibbert was the man to beat Friday and Saturday at the International Series of Champions National Snocross event at Canterbury Racepark in Shakopee.
Hibbert swept all of his qualifying races and won both the Friday and Saturday Pro Open races.
Levi LaValle of Longville placed 10th on the Pro Open Friday with Cody Thomsen of Nisswa 15th.
On Saturday, LaValle placed ninth.
In the Junior 16-17 final, Longville’s Tyler Daudt finished fourth on his Polaris in the Sport Final. Evan Daudt placed 10th in Sport No. 1 and Brandon Herheim of Hackensack finished 11th in Sport No. 2 Final on his Arctic Cat.
The next national event is Feb. 1-2 in Deadwood, S.D.
The Minnesota Regional Sno-X competed Sunday at Canterbury. Tyler Daudt won the Amateur 16-29 final and placed third in the Sport final.
Evan Daudt finished fourth in the Pro 16-29 class and Herheim was fifth in the Pro Lite final. The next regional event is Jan. 12-13 at Glyndon.
The second round of the United States Cross Country snowmobile series was held in Detroit Lakes. Area racers earning top 10 finishes were Ryan Greening of Brainerd, who placed seventh in the Pro 600 and ninth in the Pro Open.
Pillager’s C.J. VandePutte finished sixth in the Semipro 600. Nathan Moritz of Emily secured seventh in the Semipro Improved. All three ride Arctic Cats.
The next race is Jan. 12 in Willmar.
