The Northern Lakes Lightning boys’ hockey team was defeated by Little Falls 6-1 in non-conference action on Thursday, Jan. 3.
The Lightning, 4-6 overall, hosted St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and Moose Lake-Willow River on Thursday, Jan. 10.
The Flyers, who improved to 10-2 overall, were led by Ben Newman with a pure hat trick in the second period.
Kyle Narveson scored the only goal for Northern Lakes on a power play.
