To Mr. Don Bye, author of From The Left Hand Corner:
In a recent issue, I read Mr. Bye’s opinion of the Koch brothers spending $600,000 of their own money in Minnesota to improve the economic business conditions in Minnesota. He was totally against that action even though the Koch brothers have business in Minnesota.
It was amazing that Mr. Bye did not mention New York Mayor Bloomberg’s stated intention to spend $25 million of his money to influence politicians in Minnesota to institute background checks for all firearm owners in our state.
This historically leads to registration of all firearms and, in many cases, to confiscation.
Mayor Bloomberg is not involved in Minnesota, does not understand our state, nor (I believe) has any right to meddle in our politics or activities. His city has one of the highest crime rates in the country and has his prescribed gun registration and prohibition that he wants to impose on Minnesota.
I am not in favor of higher crime rates as in New York City.
Now, I wonder why Mr. Bye did not write about Mayor Bloomberg. Do you?
