Written law ignored

The saying goes, you build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door.

We are told that Obamacare is a great and wonderful thing. However, with nearly 60 percent of Americans opposed to it, the government spending more than $600 million taxpayer dollars to sell it (including more than $20 million by our governor to sell Minnesotans on it), special waivers given out by the hundreds and even the politicians (yes, our Sens. Klobuchar and Franken) have given themselves and their staff a “special” government assistance payment up to 70 percent of the cost of this monstrosity to limit the negative impact on them while the rest of us that are not part of their Washington elite have to suffer with the full rising cost of the program.

Even this past week Obama stated that Obamacare is a right. Does he believe this is an inalienable, God-given right like those stated in our constitution?

Obama must believe he has the power of God. Obama is doing this while ignoring the Constitution by changing laws without involving Congress as is stated in the Constitution.

Obama has gutted the rule of law and instilled lawlessness, including a recent policy change by the attorney general to ignore written law regarding penalties for drug possession.

This is the path of the left and Democrats, including the DFL. Forget the law when it is inconvenient, give yourselves special privileges and ignore the people you are supposed to represent.
