Federal government is out of control

Posted: February 26, 2013 - 4:31pm

We have to quit electing Ivy League lawyers to make decisions that affect our economy. Many of these lawyers never held a real job (including our president).

The federal government never produces anything but misery. They first extract money from us, shuffle it around, then return a small portion back to the states. It reminds me of the happy dog who has his tail cut off then half is fed back to him. He is so happy because you feed him half his tail.

I worked in a large corporation where we cut our salaries 10 percent for a year to help our business survive. We did this at least twice in my career.

Now our stupid federal government says the end of the world is likely if they cut even 2 1/2 percent. Most, but not all, this nonsense is spread by the donkey party.

Robert Olson,

Ideal Township

Olson must have learned about eating dog tails in Somalia

Amazing how someone, like Olson, who knows nothing about nothing, thinks he has all the answers for his vision of a new Somalia North rolled into one simplistic little letter.

Gee, perhaps our resident moveon shill...

could regale us with her handlers stories of success from Cuba and Venezuala?

Still waiting for you to explain how it's always fine for a rich liberal to dodge taxes and I'm also waiting for the name of the companies you and Jckpine work for?

Nutty does not contribute to the dialogue.

Again Nutty wastes everyone's time. Her posts never have an orginal thought, much less an idea. Everywhere she goes, she lowers the intelligent level by 50%.

Speaking of dumbing down the dialogue, Keith Ellison is back at it after his trip to Somalia, which was paid for by Islamic radicals, "the de facto arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.."

I'm sure the seniority system at the UNION Mustang Ranch

that required the oldest hookers to be the first hired may have had something to do with the sharp drop in clientele.

According to Democratic

According to Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters, if Congress allows sequestration cuts to take effect, more than 170 million Americans could lose their jobs.

There's only one small problem with that statement. The entire economy only has 134 million jobs.

Stupid Democrats!

"Start of the fall? Detroit

"Start of the fall? Detroit was declared insolvent today, and I feel will likely go into total decay as the state may not be able to handle the financial burden; lots of paychecks, pensions, and welfare rolls to cover. I suspect the FBI data is pretty accurate and the predictions easily deduced from the numbers. I also see LA, Chicago and several others already on the skids now sliding down the same slope. Part of the answer for the DHS purchase of large quantities of small arms ammo, going to take awhile to settle things down in those locations as the “free” life style dries up.

Those who chose to ignore statics are most likely, to their utter surprise, to become one at the worst possible time."

More Stupid stuff (that Nutz and Jackpine ignore)

Barack Obama: "I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go?"

Nancy Pelosi on the economy: "every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs."

Congressman Hank Johnson on Guam: "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,"

Sleepy was asleep while Bush let loose all his crazy Bushisms

Because Sleepy has obviously sleepwalked through life to become such a clueless idiot, he dosn't realize that The Decider said more stupid things than probably any other US president. Whenever he spoke, (most of) America would cringe in embarrassment.

More "Do as I say, not as I do"

typical lib answer you demand Mr Lund provide his business name but you are too cowardly to do the same.

As for your "Oh so original" burger flipper comment? I see that as more of your projection problem.

Now go run and hide from this thread like you do on many others when you've made a fool of yourself.

Coward.

(CNSNews.com) - During the

(CNSNews.com) - During the month of February--as President Barack Obama was warning Americans they would see dramatic effects in their lives if “sequestration” of some planned federal spending kicked in--the federal government’s debt climbed by $253.5 billion.

That one-month increase in the debt was nearly six times as much as the $44 billion in spending cuts the Congressional Budget Office estimates will take place in all of fiscal 2013 as a result of sequestration.

More budget cuts are needed.

With the White House closing its doors to public tour groups in order to save money for the sequester, it's worth remembering some of the other costs the White House incurs annually.

Like the "Chief Calligrapher," Patricia A. Blair, who has an annual salary of $96,725, and her two deputies, Debra S. Brown, who gets paid $85,953 per year, and Richard T. Muffler, who gets paid $94,372 every year.

In all, the White House appears to employ 3 calligraphers for a yearly total of $277,050. Despite sequestration, there's been no announcement of the White House scaling back on calligraphers.

That's a good one Jay.

A record 89,304,000 Americans 'Not in Labor Force' -- 296,000 fewer employed since January. Yet, the Obama says unemployment went down. The actual U6 unemployment is stated as 14.3% (which is understated).

Nancy Nutty and Sally Jackpine will buy into the Obama Administrations bull because they are mathematically challenged. What a couple of DA's. What a joke.

Incredible stupidity there, Echo Whackos

In keeping with voting for, and supporting things that are completely against your economic interests, good news is bad news to you, and vice versa.

But that's how it is in Rightwing world, a very topsy-tervy place, where down is up, wrong is right, Rush is right and using a racist name for our president is perfectly OK.

Idiots!

Sally and Nancy do not have a clue.

Poor dimwitted Sallyjackpine and NancyNutty try to claim that they are in the majority. As usual, they are wrong. They mistake apathy for Romney as support for Obama.

"If President Barack Obama had piled up political capital with his impressive re-election, it’s largely gone."

Job seekers in New York City

Job seekers in New York City who are passed over because they are unemployed will be able to sue for discrimination under a new law passed over the mayor’s veto.

New York City is among four jurisdictions that have passed laws targeting discrimination against the unemployed, the Associated Press reports. But New York is alone in authorizing lawsuits. The laws in New Jersey, Oregon and Washington, D.C., bar job ads that require applicants to be employed.

The law will take effect in three months.
