Disagrees with ‘gun-grabbers’

Sunday morning I watched Rick Nolan make a complete idiot out of himself.

When asked if he would support anti-gun legislation he said something to the effect he’s been a hunter all his life from northeast Minnesota. He goes on to say we don’t need these so called “assault weapons” to hunt ducks.

Really, Rick, you hunt ducks with a rifle? That’s illegal, you know.

Just goes to show how stupid these gun-grabbers are. God help us!

Openroad says, "What ever

Openroad says, "What ever happened to the majority rules? The majority of the people elected Obama with more then 3 million votes, and 58% of the people believe that we need sticker gun laws."

It doesnt matter if 99% wanted gun control, the 2nd Amendment wont allow it, thats already been ruled upon by the Supreme Court in 07 I believe.

Howabouts if we start takin little pieces of the first Amendment because little Johnny is getting bullied verbally? Watch the Liberals go crazy then!

Remember:64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday!

Ya know, almost EVERY time an

Ya know, almost EVERY time an "anti" opposes anything, it is with vitriol and uncontrolled insults. Anyone who DARES oppose them is a right wing, nut job, psychonut, fanatical, radical, wingnut, screws loose, paranoid fruitloop, uber-conservative, maniacal idiot. THAT alone should give some insight into the minds of those who would take away our rights.
And they are calling US names.

You rightwing extremists are advocating sedition

Jaysoffhisrocker's profile picture sumarizes his extremist posts. He appears perched up high in sniper position with his assault rifle ready to mow down fellow Americans, or whoever he perceives as his imaginary enemy. The seditious slogan on his shirt says, "When all else fails VOTE from the rooftops."

His unhinged posts make clear that he is an extremely fearful, paranoid individual, who is stockpiling his weapons in preparation for some imaginary takeover by our democratically elected government, or some imaginary commie invasion. Sick!

Considering his obviously irrational rants, one has to wonder at what point will his hyper-paranoia and irrational thinking cause him to decide to start pulling the trigger and "voting" on his fellow Americans, or whoever he perceives as the enemy.

The proposed reasonable "well regulated" gun controls, including more stringent background/psychological screening is only common sense.

There was a picture of a

There was a picture of a women in Texas with a hand gun in a holster in a store with her back to the aisle. What if someone say a man or women bigger then her came up from behind and got her in a head lock while grabbing her gun. I would assume there were six rounds in the gun, and he turned the gun on the other people in the store killing at least 6 men, women or children. Would the gun owner be at fault for having a weapon in easy reach of the killer?

Yes

Texas is an open carry state, no concealed carry there. Yes, the gun owner is responsible but if she has a permit that means she had training. Nobody should get the weapon with the proper training and common sense.

Would the Texas gun owner be at fault?

The idiot lawmakers in Texas, who allow everyone to carry guns, anywhere, for any reason, just like the wild west "on your own society", are at fault for being so fricken' crazy. Jaysoffhisrocker, this isn't the 19th century wild west, in case you didn't know.

All sorts of laws abridge freedom of speech, as there should be

The first amendment says, "Congress shall make NO LAW abridging the freedom of speech", but we have all sorts of common sense and necessary laws that do exactly that (shouting "fire" in a theatre, etc.).

Despite the fact that the second amendment says, "well regulated", you absolutist gun-nuts are incable of understanding or accepting that there is a need for common sense gun regulations.

Then there is the third amendment, which is completely obsolete.

I sorta doubt you could shoot

I sorta doubt you could shoot 6 people in a grocery store in Texas.
You'd be lucky to get 3 before the rest of the shoppers shot you to pieces!

Minnesota is an open carry state as well

There is non requirement that a permit carry conceal their weapon in Minnesota. Minnesota is not a traditional open carry state. Open carry is legal however with a Minnesota permit

So if the libs took an actual gun class they would know that.

But just in case I will post this link to DPS and note the following:

If I have a permit to carry a pistol do I have to conceal the pistol?

No. Minnesota’s Personal Protection Act is a permit to carry law, not a conceal and carry law. The pistol does not need to be concealed, but can be concealed.

They are having a "gun

They are having a "gun violence" seminar at Johns Hopkins Universtiy in Baltimore today. The "Guest of Honor" is none other than that gun-grabbin' SOB Hizzoner Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire who thinks we shouldn't have guns while surrounding himself with armed bodyguards.

Has anyone else noticed that the terminology has changed? It's no longer termed "gun control". Now it's dealing with "gun violence" instead. And how do they propose to put an end to "gun violence"? With "gun control", of course.

Where guns come from

Jaysoffhisrocker, you aren't bright enough to realize this, but they've got cars in Chicago, that they can use to travel outside the city limits and legally buy guns at gunshows, or wherever, with no background checks or regulations.

They've also got gun-crazed gang wars going on in Chicago, kind of like we had in Minneapolis a few years ago, when they used those cars to bring their gunplay to what was then known as Murderapolis.

Apparently (from what I just

Apparently (from what I just heard on the radio), an NBC reporter said on the "Today" show this morning that the Bushmaster was NOT used in the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School. According to the report, Lanza was armed with four pistols during the shooting spree, not the Bushmaster.

It's a ruse, a trick to disarm us with emotion-driven rhetoric by a bunch of lying bastards who want to turn the republic into a dictatorship.

Keep yer powder dry!

Interesting Facts -

Fact - Many of the early reports that have since been scrubbed (although you can find them) had no report of rifle being used in the school shooting. Two hand guns a Sig and a Glock were found inside the classroom with the shooter. This was confirmed by all local police officials first on the scene and all media news reports. Here is one with original AP claim: http://www.theprovince.com/news/Gunman+kills+including+young+kids+massacre+Connecticut/7700431/story.html

Fact - Anyone that knows anything about guns knows that the .223 cartridge isnt used to kill as its primary objective it is to injure.

Fact - The Bushmaster is a semi-auto rifle built on the AR platform - it is not by definition an assault rifle.

Fact - No one I mean no one is talking about solutions to violence.

So jayoffyourrocker you think

So jayoffyourrocker you think that the "3" shot and killed (maybe children) is nothing as long as someone else in the store has a gun to kill the shooter?????
Wow what a disregard for the life of 3 innocent people. I know that Minnesota has an open carry law. Have know that for a long time and have only seen one person walk into a service station in Rice with a gun and holster. Still the gun owner has a responsibility to make sure that that gun isn't taken from them and used against others. I wouldn't go into a place of business where someone is there with an exposed gun.

So you would rather see 6 people shot instead of 3? Interesting!

"I wouldn't go into a place of business where someone is there with an exposed gun."
Thats your choice, I dont really care what you chose to do as long as it doesnt affect me or my family. I cant believe you would be scared of a law abiding citizen doing buisness with a weapon on.
Amazing!

I would rather that she

I would rather that she didn't carry a gun into the place of business where this could happen........ How you twist this around to say that I would rather see 6 killed is as dumb as your other statements. Read what I wrote....
If gun regulations can save one life (maybe a member of your family) then it is worth it. What has no gun zone got to do with anything? If there wasn't a gun there wouldn't have been a shooting.

Again the media are doing nothing to discuss causes....

Lone gunman, with a handgun, shoots administrator? Why?

Because this on again off again student was angry? Mentally off his rocker? Never had to face a No or deal with adversity? We may never know...

This was a post graduate school not a high school. Surely was not bullying.

A rational person does not get ticked off and go grab a gun.

But where is the full context discussion? The focus will be on the gun and not the underlying problems that lead a person to violence - lack of social skills, problems in the home, alcohol/drugs, prescription drugs, mental health, and yes for you libs that will not admit it - political correctness where we have condition people that there are no winners or losers .... the fact that there was a gun is irrelevant. If this person wanted to hurt the administrator could have done it with a hammer, knife, car, poison, hands, fire and a million other things...
