Just when I was thinking of cancelling my subscription to the Lake Country Echo along comes these headlines: “City administrator Swenson resigns ‘in protest’” ... “Crosslake mayor, council member meet with unapproved municipal attorney” ... “Crosslake meetings draw questions over open meeting law.”
Here we go again; city staff desperate for relevancy, annoyed with supervision, the public demanding change and a local newspaper salivating for headlines. I’ll be racing to the mail box every week now!
