Susan Louise Jordan, 64, of Merrifield, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at her home. Services will be private.

Susan was born March 29, 1948, in St. Paul, the daughter of Roger and Charlotte (Krueger) Jordan. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in finance and continued her education at the University of St. Thomas where she earned a Master’s Degree in computer science. She worked at 3M her entire career, before retiring and moving to Lake Edward several years ago.

She enjoyed gardening and woodworking. She was a member of the Nisswa Garden Club.

Pauline Tranby

Pauline Tranby, 96, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society Bethany, Brainerd.

Orphie Pauline Tranby was born to Oscar and Agnes Amoth on Nov. 18, 1916, in Jamestown, N.D.

She was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Pine River and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and singing in the choir.

Pauline is survived by her sons, Ray (Carol), Howard (Patti) and Marvin (Kay); sister, Alpha Klotz; 10 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Emma Elizabeth McKenney

Princess Emma Elizabeth McKenney was born Jan. 12, 2006, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn. From birth, and every day of her life, Emma fought with a mitochondrial disease and an undiagnosed neuromuscular disease to stay alive.

Emma’s favorite activities were playing with a toy flower on her swing, playing with balloons, going to the aquarium, twirling her hair in her fingers, having stories read to her, watching SpongeBob and listening to her mom sing to her. Being the princess of the family also meant you could spot her in a new outfit almost every day.

Glen Marvin Leverington, 93, of rural Pine River, died peacefully March 26, 2013.

He was born June 26, 1919, in Moose Lake Township, Cass County, Minn., to Leslie and Josephine (Sandstrom) Leverington. The family moved to Bungo Township west of Pine River when he was 8 months old. He attended the rural Huffman School and graduated from Pine River High School in 1937.

Ruth Ione Annett/Dickey (nee Astrum), 90, of Pequot Lakes, went to be with Our Lord on March 27, 2013.

She was born May 8, 1922, was the oldest of 10 children and grew up in Walker, Minn.

Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Hannah Irene (nee Bengtson) Astrum; husband, Howard; sisters, Alice Jean and Helen LaRow (Armand); brothers, Jack and Richard; son, Mike Dickey; and grandsons, Matthew Dickey and Brian Fitzgerald.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at St. Louis Catholic Church (506 Cedar St., St. Paul) with a visitation Friday from 5-7 p.m. at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul). Private family interment. Memorials are preferred to the charity of the donor’s choice.

She is preceded in death by brother, Carl Anderson; sisters: Mabel Hein, Karen Pannek; and stepson, Donald Olek.
