Joan S. Weston, 83, of Pequot Lakes, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes. Family and friends were invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment was at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Adeline Potz, 86, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River.

She was born to Charles and Iva Brazier on Feb. 5, 1927, in Todd County, Minn. Adeline married Gerald “Tony” Potz on Aug. 18, 1948, in Brainerd. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, gardening and bird watching. She loved her pets and spoiling her grandchildren.

Cheryl “Cherie” Arvis

Cheryl “Cherie” Arvis, 64, of Ironton, passed away at the Crosby Care Center on March 30, 2013.

She was born March 15, 1949, in Wadena, to Clyde “Doug” and Lucille Swanson.

Cherie is survived by her husband, Frank; daughters, Carri (Eric) Larson and Trisha (Travis) Skeesick; sons, Brian Burgau and Troy (Shanon) Burgau; stepchildren, Shane Arvis and Christina Arvis; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Duane (Rita) Swanson; sisters, Vickie (Roy) Iverson and Debra Swanson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dennis (Pat) Patrick Greene, 92, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Montana Veteran’s Home in Columbia Falls, Mont.

Dennis was born Jan. 22, 1921, to Golden Silver Greene and Martha Whipper and was raised in Backus, Minn.
