Judith K. Miller
Judith Kay Miller, 70, of Fifty Lakes died on Sept. 10, 2013 at her home. She was born on Dec. 5, 1942 in Houston, Minn., to Oren and Madonna (McNabo) Loken. Judy was a member of the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake; the Minnesota Citizen Concerned for Life and a former Crow Wing County Chairperson. She was a retired postal clerk at the Fifty Lakes and Manhattan Beach Post Offices. Judy was an avid gardener both at home and at Our Ladies Garden at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church and the Nisswa Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband Michael Herman; two sons, Dan (Debbie) Miller of Crosslake, Chris (Marine) Miller of Portland, Maine; two step sons, Matthew (Jennie) Herman of Elk River and Christopher (Sarah) Herman of Princeton; one brother, Butch (Barb) Loken of Holman, Wisc.; three sisters, Cathy (Milt) Willigallie of Lakeville, Becky (Randy) Savey of Jenkins and Vicky (Kevin) Flagal of Austin, Tex.; three grandchilden, Marissa, Allie and Emeric Miller; six step-grandchildren, Mikela, Madison, Nash, Ethen, Cole, Kegan Herman.
Preceding her in death are her parents and first husband Donald G. Miller.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
Judy touched many lives she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
