Linda Jeanette (Thames) Trana
Linda Jeanette (Thames) Trana, 64, of Crosslake, is now resting peacefully waiting her Lord’s return, after a long struggle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Lincoln, Neb., and passed away June 7, 2013, in Crosslake, Minn., with loved ones by her side. She enjoyed sharing her faith with all that she came in contact with. She stayed active as a partner in Trana Masonry and operated Family Affair gift shop located in Crosslake.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Lawrence Trana; son, Peter (Kelly) Trana, and daughter, Lori (Mike) Nash; her mother, Goldie Thames; two sisters, Barbara (George) St. Pierre and Marsha (Delvin) DeLong; brother, Rodney (Natalie) Thames; five grandchildren, Christofer and Rylie Trana and Cody, Cole Max and Chase Nash.
She is preceded in death by her father, Max H. Thames, and grandson, Carter Trana.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at the Crosslake Christian Assembly of God Church in Crosslake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
