William C. “Bill” Moses

William C. “Bill” Moses, 90, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., died Jan. 5, 2013, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law following a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna “Sue,” and daughter, Kristin Lehtinen. He is survived by a daughter, Debra (Darrell) Mead; and son, Craig Moses; and son-in-law, Thomas Lehtinen. Bill is also survived by grandsons, Will Moses, Jeremy Mead and Eric Mead, great-grandchildren and nieces.
Bill was a B17 pilot in World War II and before that in the Aleutian Islands based in Kodiak, Alaska. After the war, he worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 37 years as an engineer. He and his wife retired on the lake in Nisswa.
Service will be at Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, with one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
