Because of snow days, Pequot Lakes Schools will be in session for a full day Friday, May 10, which previously was scheduled as a half day.

And the last day of school will now be Friday, May 24, which will be a half day for students. Students’ last day was to be Thursday, May 23.

Learn the basics of motorcycle rider safety through one of several motorcycle training sessions offered this spring at Central Lakes College-Brainerd Campus.

Introduction to a Motorcycle is a four-hour, range-only course designed for the true novice who would like a hands-on introduction to motorcycle controls and their operation before taking the Basic Rider Course. There are no written or skills tests for this course, and a motorcycle permit is not required; however, students will need to possess a valid driver’s license or a driver’s permit.
