An American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR Refresher course will be offered from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in Room E203 at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.
The Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby course will teach the basic life support measures needed to recognize a cardiac arrest early and provide appropriate treatments. It will also teach early entry into the EMS system.
The course will cover the basic steps to support circulation and respirations of a victim in cardiac or respiratory arrest through CPR.
Successful completion of this course fulfills the requirements for the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Fee is $75 with book, $60 if book used for class is returned.
