Both indoor and outdoor composting processes, traditional composting and vermicomposting will be discussed and demonstrated in a class from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in Room 114 at Pequot Lakes High School.
Instructors are Jackie Burkey and Jackie Froemming, University of Minnesota certified Master Gardeners.
Composting can be done by gathering the right kitchen and yard waste and letting it decompose outside, or rich compost can be made indoors year-round by letting worms do all the work.
Class fee is $10. A minimum of five registered students is needed to hold class.
Pre-registration is required. Contact Pequot Lakes Community Education for information or to register at 218-568-9200.
