The Pequot Lakes School District’s Eagle View Elementary School will start the 2013–14 school year with individual parent-teacher conferences Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 3 and 4.
Parents who are in need of child care for their school-aged child(ren) are encouraged to contact Kid Konnection. The Kid Konnection program will be open Tuesday, Sept. 3, and Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Students may attend for the full day or a portion of the day.
Call 218-562-6109 for information on the program and how to register a child for these back to school days.
The regular school year program for Kid Konnection begins Thursday, Sept. 5. There is a before school child care option from 7-8 a.m. and an after school child care from the end of the school day at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The after school fees are based on the length of time the child attends.
For more information about the school-age child care program, go to the school district website at www.pequotlakes.k12.mn.us, "community education" and select "Kid Konnection." The registration forms, commitment forms and activity schedule for the child care program are online.
Plan now to have safe, supervised child care in place for your kindergarten through sixth-grade school-aged child. Middle school students in grades 5 and 6 are able to attend Kid Konnection.
Busing will be available between Eagle View and the middle school for both the before school and after school child care services.
Contact the Pequot Lakes transportation director at 568-8541 to arrange for busing. The Eagle View based Kid Konnection program is ready to enroll students for the fall 2013 session.
