Super Science Saturday will offer hands-on, inquiry-based experiments from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the Pequot Lakes Middle School Science Lab for students in grades 3-6.
Participants will choose two of the following four science labs:
• Building vehicles in the motion madness lab.
• Extreme electrical engineering lab where all things electrical will be applied to create a machine that lights up, makes noise and operates with the flip of a switch.
• Potions lab where crazy chemicals will be mixed and reacted to create crazy concoctions.
• Aerodynamic lab where airplane designing, building and testing will be conducted.
Instructor Alicia Green has a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and teaching licensure specializing in chemistry and physics.
Class fee is $20 and includes supplies. A minimum of 12 registered students is needed for the class to be held.
