The Business and Industry Center at Central Lakes College, Brainerd, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, will offer an opportunity to prepare for taking the special class boiler exam.
Instruction will include boiler types, attendance requirements for heating boilers, safety issues and state boiler rules, application paperwork and test procedures.
The class fee of $99 includes all materials. Testing and application fee for licensure will be an additional fee for the student with the Department of Labor and Industry.

Boiler exams are given by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. All applications and affidavits for boiler operator licensing must be pre-approved and pre-paid 15 calendar days prior to the exam date. Call 651-284-5544 for information regarding the new license procedures.
