PR-B Elementray to host ‘Read Across America’ on March 1
Pine River-Backus Elementary School invites parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and neighbors to come and read with the children in our community.
At 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 1, the school will celebrate “Read Across America.” In honor of Dr. Seuss Day, the National Education Association calls for every child to read in the company of a caring adult. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, community centers and more participate by bringing together kids and books.
Show support for our children by joining us on this special day. After sharing your favorite book with a child or reading one provided, enjoy treats and punch in the cafeteria.
