Central Lakes College will present Accounting Tools with Jay Bock from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the Business and Industry Center on the Brainerd campus.
This is part of the 2013 Advantage Series dedicated to entrepreneurs looking for helpful tips as well as those already in business and wanting to stay ahead of the game.
Accounting is the business function of recording, reporting and analyzing financial information. Accounting can help owners make smart decisions through the careful analysis of financial information relating to current operations and new business opportunities.
This session will review the most popular accounting tools used today. Participants will also learn what types of information they should expect to get out of their accounting system to run their small business.
This session would be ideal for anyone thinking of starting or purchasing a business, or anyone already in business and tracking business activity manually.

Cost is $30 per person per session, or $100 for all four. Register no fewer than seven days before the class date.
