Crow Wing County 4-H Horse Project members from the area participated in the State 4-H Horse Show on Sept. 14-16 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
Alexis Visser was a finalist for the Dan Patch Award and received recognition during the Grand Entry/Awards Ceremony.
The Quad Drill Team placed first with members Natasha Gallett, Danielle Palmer, Cheyenne Wilson and Sheridan Wilson.
Members of the Drill Team were Sam Beach, Kelsi Bergquist, Lauren Crabtree, Korbyn D’Ambroisio, Samantha Meier, Rylee Minten, Palmer, Shania Robinson and Sheridan Wilson.
Gallett was ninth in her Horse Related exhibit.
Individual placings included Lydia Larson, fifth place in English Showmanship; Kiana Dusek, seventh place in Poles, ninth in Key Race and 10th in Jumping Figure 8; and Visser, third in Jumping Figure 8, third in Key Race and fourth in Poles.
In Hippology, Crabtree placed 24th as an individual.
