MicroNet, Inc., the Nisswa-based market leader of Chamber of Commerce Management Software, announces the addition of its 1,400th customer, the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce in Iowa.

The chamber’s executive director, Brook Boehmler, is deploying ChamberMaster to help fulfill the mission to support the county seat’s economic growth by improving the quality of life and business climate in the Franklin County area.

An experienced Minnesota health care leader has been selected to serve as Essentia Health’s central region president in Brainerd.

Dr. Peter Person, CEO of Essentia Health, and Bill Potvin, chair of Essentia Health’s Central Region Board, announce that Adam C. Rees has been hired to lead Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd and 12 Essentia clinics in north-central Minnesota.

Rees has 25 years of experience with the Mayo Clinic Health System and most recently served as chief administrative officer for Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin in Austin.

Central Lakes College will host a 10-hour general industry OSHA workshop from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 6 and 7, at the Business and Industry Center in Brainerd.

This class requires an OSHA-authorized trainer and is taught in a pre-set format throughout the country. Participants receive a completion card from the OSHA Training Institute. Some companies require all contractors on their premise to have this card.

The fee is $165, payable at registration.

Barbara Clemens, a family nurse practitioner, will join the Essentia Health-Hackensack Clinic in mid-February. She’ll see both adults and children.

Clemens began her career as a registered nurse and then became a nurse practitioner. She earned a nursing diploma from Broadlawns Polk County School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa, and trained as a family nurse practitioner at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, N.D.

Clemens is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
