If you find yourself in a situation that is not life threatening, but still requires immediate medical attention the team at Urgent Care located at the Essentia Health Baxter Clinic, 13060 Isle Drive, provides prompt and personal treatment. This walk-in service, available seven days a week, is excited to welcome two new members to their team: physician assistants Lance Fisher and Katherine Mensing.
Fisher enjoys the variety of patients he cares for at Urgent Care. “I like having the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a patient that relieves their pain, illness or injury,” he says. “I am very passionate about the health and well-being of every patient I treat.”
Fisher earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Mensing earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
“I wanted to practice at a place where the patient is the number one priority, and that is definitely true here,” Mensing says about Essentia Health. “I take great pride in getting to know my patients as individuals and tailoring their treatments to meet their personal needs.”
Staffed with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, the team of providers at Urgent Care can assess your symptoms, diagnose your illness, order tests and x-rays, and prescribe treatments to get you feeling better fast.
