According to the results of more than 230,000 patient experience of care surveys done by the Clinician and Group Surveys–Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CG-CAHPS), Lakewood Health System’s Pillager clinic was ranked first amongst 651 clinics across all Minnesota in office staff and provider ratings.
Clinics were ranked in four categories: availability of timely appointments, courtesy of clinic staff, communication skills of the doctors and overall doctor quality.
Along with Pillager, Lakewood’s Staples and Motley clinics were also in the top 28 in all four categories.
The surveys were done by the Minnesota Department of Health and MN Community Measurement as part of Minnesota’s Statewide Quality Reporting and Measurement System, and is the most complete look at patient experience on a statewide basis in the country.
