Central Lakes College will host a 10-hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 13 and 14, at the Business and Industry Center in Brainerd.
Topics covered, in relationship to the construction industry:
OSHA General Industry Citation, penalty and inspections procedures, Material Handling, Walking and Working Surfaces, Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment, Machine Guarding, Excavations and Trenching, Lock-out/Tag Out, Permitted Confined Spaces, Hazard Communications, Right-to-Know, Safety and Health Programs and AWAIR.
Participants who complete the training will receive a completion card from the OSHA Training Institute that states they have successfully completed the 10-Hour OSHA course.
