Crow Wing County Sheriff

BURGLARIES: Report Oct. 21 of a complainant in Fifty Lakes reporting multiple break-ins in the area of the 10000 block of Meyer Lake Road.

Report Oct. 27 of a burglary at a cabin on the 20000 block of Lens Road in Emily.

THEFTS: Report Oct. 22 of theft of a car hauling a trailer in Nisswa.

FRAUD: Report Oct. 24 of a fraud complaint from County Road 3, Merrifield.

Report Oct. 27 of fraud from Silver Lake Road in Merrifield.

ACCIDENT: Report Oct. 27 of an accident in which an ATV flipped into a pond on the 20000 block of Buckhorn Trail in Merrifield.

Emily Police Department

THEFT: Report Oct. 17 of a gas tank stolen from a pontoon boat on Pinewood Drive in Emily. Owner was able to identify and reclaim the tank.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Report Oct. 17 that a gate on County Road 1 appeared to have been hooked to a truck and ripped from the chain.

STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED: Report Oct. 16 of recovery of stolen property.

Pine River Police Department

THEFT: Report Oct. 23 of money stolen from the pumpkin stand cash box. Case is under investigation.

BURGLARY: Report Oct. 23 of the department assisting Crow Wing County sheriff with a burglary in progress. An adult male was arrested and the case is under investigation.

FIREARMS: Report Oct. 24 of a juvenile male who brought two firearms onto school grounds. Police chief Paul Sand said the student was a hunter who was moving his firearms from the bed of a pickup into the cab to secure them. There was no ill intent, Sand said. The weapons were seized, and Sand said the case is still under investigation.

FLEEING VEHICLE: Report Oct. 26 of a male suspect who fled in a vehicle toward Walker. The vehicle was located and towed; the suspect wasn’t captured. The case is under investigation.

TRAFFIC ARREST: Report Oct. 26 of a male arrested during a safe and sober shift for driving after cancellation of his license, deemed inimical to public safety. The driver was also issued a DWI, Sand said.

Breezy Point Police Department

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Report Oct. 25 from a woman saying someone had been in her Bluebird Lane apartment, taken some items and used the shower.

Nisswa Police Department

RECOVERED PROPERTY: Report Oct. 27 of a recovered skid steer and trailer returned to the owners.

Pequot Lakes Police Department

ACCIDENT: Report Oct. 22 of a property damage accident between two cars in the northbound lane of Highway 371 near the intersection of Lilac Street in Jenkins.
