The 24th annual Nisswa Christmas Tour of Homes took place Oct. 17-19 and once again all 900 tickets were sold.
Chair of the event, Linda Martin, said four houses were included on the tour, with three decorated by one business each and one decorated by two businesses.
Participating businesses included Woodland Meadow, Green Porch, Massie Creek, The Red Umbrella and Buffalo Plaid. Massie Creek and The Red Umbrella worked together to decorate one house.
Participating houses were located on East Clark Lake Road, County Road 77, Rocky Point and Doyle Parkway. Martin said the tour does its best to use different houses every year.
Martin said the 900 available tickets sold out well in advance, with 126 tickets selling the first day sales opened in the second week of June.
All proceeds from the event after costs go to the food shelf. The event is entirely volunteer-run. Martin said the event doesn’t announce the amount of money that is donated. In all 900 tickets are sold and each ticket is $65.
