The next Kitchigami Regional Library Legacy Program will soon visit the Pequot Lakes library. Monkey Mind Pirates Family Yoga Party presented by Z Puppets Rosenschnoz of Minneapolis will be at the library Wednesday, July 17, at 10 a.m., for children ages 3 and older, including families.
This is known as “the world’s only puppet, rock, yoga adventure for families in search of calm.”
Get the whole family moving with this mix of puppets, music and yoga fun. Help Captain Fitz navigate the stormy seas of stress and tame the unruly Monkey Mind Pirates. Join the Quest for Calm with catchy, original songs, simple yoga poses and a playful approach to mindfulness. Turn your family’s “arrghs” into “Oms” with this award-winning musical performance; winner of Creative Child Magazine’s Award of Excellence.
Z Puppets Rosenschnoz delights children and adults with feats of imagination, mixing handcrafted puppetry and quirky comedy with live music. Z Puppets artists Shari Aronson and Chris Griffith have earned many awards, including support from the Jim Henson Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Puppeteers of America and the Minnesota State Arts Board.
