Bridges of Hope and Journey North will sponsor the first-ever Run for Hope 5K on Saturday, June 15, on the Paul Bunyan Trail in Brainerd-Baxter.
Check-in will take place at the lower parking lot near the Northland Arboretum. Ages 10 and older must register in advance. The $20 fee will include a T-shirt, the book “Every Body Matters” and a water bottle. Children under 10 are welcome to participate with a registered adult.
Runners will start at 9 a.m. Those wishing to walk or who have small children or strollers will start at 10 a.m. Participants should check in at least half an hour before their start time.
Community members are encouraged to visit Bridges of Hope’s website to learn more about the event or to register at www.bridgesofhopemn.org.
