The Nisswa-stämman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, in Nisswa.
From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Scandinavian music and dancing workshops will be held in the Nisswa area. They are open to the public, and there is a fee.

At 7 p.m. Friday, the Gala Opening Sampler concert will be at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, Cost is $15 per person, and tickets will be available only at the door starting at 6 p.m.
From 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., an old-time dance featuring several bands will be at the Nisswa American Legion Club.
On Saturday, the Nisswa-stämman Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nisswa Pioneer Village.
Cost is $10 for adults and $1 for children 15 and under. All tickets will be available only at the gate.
A Smorgasbord will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Nisswa American Legion for $15. Tickets will be available Friday night and Saturday at the events.
From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, an old-time dance featuring even more bands than Friday night will be at the Nisswa American Legion Club.
