Crow Wing County Land Services announces that all land use permit history is now available for viewing through the GIS mapping website.
Included in the permit search are items such as conditional use permits, variance applications, septic information, building permits, wetland permits and subdivision applications.
Crow Wing County recently added the “Survey Docs” search tab to the GIS user interface, which enables the public to search for survey-related documents through the GIS mapping website.
Some items under the Survey Docs search include certificate of surveys, recorded plats, minor subdivisions and historical public land survey information.
Searching for permit history or survey documents can be done by selecting the scan documents icon in the GIS mapping application and following the drop down menu to choose the document type of choice.
Users will be able to choose from multiple print layouts (i.e., portrait, landscape and additional page sizes), export formats and resolutions when printing. In addition, users will have the ability to select features by line and polygon in the mapping application.
“Crow Wing County is continually working to utilize advances in technology to make information more readily available for individuals and professionals in the real estate and land use profession,” Crow Wing County survey/planning coordinator Paul Herkenhoff said. “These enhancements have helped staff and the general public by providing better and more efficient ways of searching for data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
